I don't have a boyfriend, but I do have some boyfriend jeans.  (Do husbands count?!?)  It took me a while to find the right ones so I could try this relaxed trend.  Most of the styles I have tried in the past had me swimming at the waist which you would expect with the men-which-have-no-hips cut.  However, I lucked out on a recent trip to Old Navy where I found these on clearance.  WooHoo for cheap jeans that fit!  Forget the fact that I stalk my favorite stores at least once a week...hmmm, now that I just read that out loud, I am beginning to think I may have a problem.  I do have a complete lack of control when it comes to shopping.  Oh, well.  What's a girl to do?!?  Gotta keep an eye out for good deals 'cause no one wants to pay full price.  :)

(Husband, if you are reading this, pretend you didn't.  <3 )

Okay, so it is crappy outside today.  I wasn't really in the picture taking mood because of the depressing rain (which also sets my allergies off, contributing to my lack of enthusiasm).  Therefore, I only mustered the energy to take a few pics.  Due to the limited supply of reasonably good photos, you get the ones where I look like a singing diva and a dancing fool.  Enjoy!

Wednesday

OOTD • Brighten up

Cardigan: Banana Republic Factory Store
Shirt: H&M
Jeans: Gap
Shoes: Target
Sunnies: Cole Hahn c/o Marshalls
Bag: Marshalls

Here is my first attempt at including the outfit accessories.  I normally don't bother, but sometimes it does add a little extra something to the look.  The glasses are new, which is why I thought I would include them.  I have been hunting for the perfect square, cover-all frames for a while and finally just broke down and snatched these ones up.  They almost meet all my criteria, with the exception of the gradient tint lens.  I prefer a full black lens, but these were such a steal, I decided to get them anyway.  Yeah for Marshalls!

Tuesday

OOTD • Double Take

OUTFIT 1
Sweater: Old Navy
Dress: Target
Shoes: Nordstrom Rack

OUTFIT 2
Cardigan: Old Navy
Dress: Target
Leggings: Marshalls
Shoes: Chinese Laundry

Today, is much colder than I had anticipated.  Since this is EBEW Florals day, I had planned to wear Option 1.  However, after taking pics early this morning before heading off to work, I looked outside (which I never do since I dress in the dark and am always on the cusp of being late) and saw how the May Gray had settled over us.  Bare legs would simply not do.  I admit, it crossed my mind to just post the pics of the outfit anyway and revert to my ol' jeans, tee and a sweater, but I knew I would feel guilty.  So, I threw on the only pair of leggings I have and swapped my cardi and shoes.  Presto, new outfit!  And although I like Outfit 2, I liked Outfit 1 more....so I figured I would post them both.  That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Tuesday

OOTD • Kinda Nautical, Kinda Exhausted

Shirt: Marshalls
Tee: Old Navy
Jeans: Gap
Shoes: Payless

I woke up exhausted, so exhausted that I could hardly open my eyes in the shower (you can probably guess I am not a morning person).  I mean sleep is supposed to be refreshing, yes?  Well, apparently not for me.  There are definitely days where sleeping only makes me more tired and today was one of them.  So, I have been trying to get me groove back all day, but it hasn't quite made it.  I guess I'll have wait until tomorrow....

Monday

OOTD • Over and Over

Shirt: Target
Jeans: Gap
Shoes: Target

I wear this outfit time and time again.  It is easy, cute and comfy.  I had two really cute outfits over the weekend, but of course, no pics!  Err.  They were both dresses, too.  (I almost never wear skirts or dresses to the office so it would have been a nice change to post.)  Anyway, had an awesome weekend...now back to the grind.  Happy Monday!
